#01 Powerpoint done by dearest Pohyi

This lil sweetie made a powerpoint for me, yes dedicated to only me (: &it made me cry a bucket full on my computer at 1 plus a.m. With the background music playing at the back 'That's what friends are for' cliche it may be, but the lyrics hit me hard with no doubt + and the words that appear on the screen, each word drowning me in tears. made me realised once again, how precious this girl is to me, that for 5 years straight.. Our friendship have survived countless number of downs, but also ups! Thanks pohyi, really :D

#03 Mommy dearest!

Sleepy groggy me, just like every morning, with no expectations of the day. Then I felt a moving presence in my room and when i open my eyes, still in a daze. The first person I saw was my mom, kissing me "Happy Birthday Baby!" I got up forthwith, and hugged momsie. I enfold and grasp her tight between my arms not missing this chance for a minute of this shower of love. I missed this embrace, & i love it. I love my mommy a lot, & you know what, I can never ask for more. My morning started off well (:

#04 Surprise by classmates

Was supposed to only meet sugarlove. Well, I was fooled completely. He called me to come down w a tshirt and camera, I suspected something was gna happen... I went down the stairs, slowly, thinking hmm what is he planning. The moment I reached the first floor, I saw him looking at me, beaming, and then he reached me instantly & kissed me on the forehead and said 'happy birthday my darling liqin' (: Red Rose at carpark, then blind fold. Led me all th way to the roof top. &there, the moment the blindfold fell. Surprise surprise! Classmates were all surrounding me, & I didnt expect them to actually make time for me. Tears started to flow down my face helplessly. & my heart was pumping so hard I didn't know how to react. I look at all the people gathered around me fr left to right... Dear, jianwen, jiayong, jolyn, jelly, pohyi, hongxi, stephy... & in my mind stunned, I was thinking.. I'm so lucky, as in v v v lucky to have this bunch of people ard in my life, who colour my prosy school life in MJC, and as if thats not enough, they're here celebrating my birthday w me?! Myword. Thanks a lot of sacrificing your beauty sleep to come down to my house so early for this surprise (:

#05 Surprise by the F4 (Haha if that still counts, Aunt Amy)

Bought stuff fr Candy Empire for them since I was earlier than all of them. (In actual they were much earlier than me, of course) You know I obviously am stupid or ignorant or gullible. Haha. Met up with the girlies for 'lunch' at Long John Silver, but they said they were not hungry, so we just munched on something since they had to go soon. Bestieboo to meet Kellyn & Oli cos Kwangyi was waiting for her. Yeah right I tell you (: So we separated and bestieee and I walked ard on a photoshoot session like tourist, again! Haha. Went into Pan Pacific Hotel and used the toilet. Walked over to Esplanade and camwhored. Fabulous bestieeeez time woohoo! Walked over to Victoria Concert, and so much for all the calls, from her 'mom' who was 'lost' who was actually Ky. & so much for urgent MEP assignment to be handed in last night! Haha.

& just when she said let's walk back to esplanade cos I wanted to eat the posh posh cake restaurant inside. Blast.. They were all sitting down on a picnic mats with ginormous amount of food laid on the mat in the middle of the park near the fountain. Once again, "Happy Birthday Liqin!!" There they were, Ky + Oli, Maine + Kel & sugarlove. With 33 helium balloons in the air, he stood up and handed me the balloons...and again. Tears started welling up in my eyes.. This time, my heart felt warm.. Real warm. & it felt nice. You know it really caught me off guard. Cos i never expected a surprise, because we hadn't had one in many birthdays. & they actually prepared so much for this one, for me (: Met up on sunday to buy present, and baked strawberry cheese for me. Plus, grocery shopping + waking up at 7am yesterday, just to prepared for this picnic which you know i'm sucha sucker for picnics, i just love them. & they chose to give me the picnic of my life, knowing tt they'll suffer the hot weather and the mosquito bites.

I don't know what I can do, to show how much i love you guys alright. You know despite all our busy schedules, all in different schools, it amazes me that we are still able to share this unexplainable bond (: So forgiving and unconditional. Thanks Ky for helping out so much, oli's lucky to have you, as much as I'm lucky to have mine (: You two, one word, awesome, always willing to let us bully heehee :D

#06 GrandSun Dinner party

Haha jokes that can't funny at all. & games that were so lame. All the young people there were like laughing at the adults lame-ness. Oops mean me (: But the food was A-1, what i call class + heavenly. So orchard hotel isn't that bad after all heh.

#07 Fireworks!

Head down to esplanade padang area to watch w the bong, pin, pinkie, dear, and gay. Sat there for like an hour & there wasn't drinks at all ahah. We tried to be kiasu singaporeans, right after the fireworks ended, we along w a few others dashed for the exit. But it was blocked. & by the time we tried to go another way. The human flow was impossible so we had a hard time getting and finding our way out heh. Took N7 with godwin, jo, and cam (jo's friend) which is the most expensive bus ride ever in history, $3.50, back to pasir ris. Watched Gossip girl, a bit & slept at 6am.

As i took the bus back just now, I began to assimilate the many beautiful memories fr ytd. I still cannot believe how much joy i've been blessed with this 17th birthday :D

So i'm emotional like that, and i cry like almost at everything. Even opening up the lil presents and reading through the notes and messages. &thinking about the events tt happened. So my tear glands are tired, but its so worth it, i'm v grateful for everything (:

Its a pity I didnt get to see church friends, but i'm to blame. I hope watchnight was fun for them though!

I know that you have sacrificed a lot the past few days, or maybe weeks i dont know, just to make my birthday the best and the most memorable one. Yes it is, just to let you know (: You made sushi for me (which explains the rojak and mashed potato), just because i requested for it. Which btw, is niceeeee :D You got me 33 balloons just because my friends asked you to which must have cost a bomb. You make me feel like a princess, not just on 31st Dec, but on every single day. You gave up your sleep, because you were afraid that if you sleep, you won't be able to wake up on time to surprise me. &even though you were already v v sick. You make sure everything goes well for me, so that i'll have this day to myself, and because of you, I got it. I know that you'll do anything just to make me happy, you want me safe and you'll hug me tight when i cry. I'm sorry you haven't recovered fr your bad cough, and you're still having a high fever now, because you haven't had a good night's rest the past few days. &lastly, thankyou for loving me just like tt (:
