How often can we draw a line between what's right & what's wrong? Because we so often tend to look on a single perspective in life. We all know that there's two sides to everything. Reminds me of the song "Both sides now" by Joni Mitchell.... & how i used to play that song non-stop on the piano, and singing along, but never really found the real meaning behind the lyrics.... Coming back, then why is it that we always, as in always... choose to ignore the other side. Why don't we look at the big picture & find an answer through it rather than immense ourselves in self-denial? Why can't things always be simpler? Its not possible, is it?
Eloise said this:
"there really isn't a time when the line between right and wrong can be clearly drawn.
funny how our world view changes with time;
when we were young,the world was just black and white
people were just good and evil.
the good people get happy endings,and the evil people die.
simple as that.
as we grow older, the grey areas unfold and increase."
Somehow I believe this exactly describes what I'm pondering over now. On a brighter note, I guess I am really grateful for everybody around me. Those I've drifted our the months... to those who have stayed close by me all this while. Plus, my dearest family. You know how much I always take things for granted, & never learn fr my lessons. I should really start on my essays and my newest story book: "Economics" by John Sloman (:
